Create50 is a writing initiative to get writers writing, writers collaborating and writers getting their worked published.
We want to get your work in front of the people who matter in the publishing industry, and to share your work with the public.
Create50 began as a Screenwriting initiative, to get screenwriters writing and their projects produced. Our first feature film, 50 Kisses, was a huge success, released in cinemas and it even entered the Guinness Book of Records. You can read about 50 Kisses HERE.
Evolving Create50 into a writing initiative seemed a logical step. So here we are! Sign up HERE.
Can you read and feedback on other writer’s stories? The hidden value in the Create50 model is not just in writing and entering your own work, but also in the community, which can help you improve your writing and career by giving feedback and sharing experience. Unlike other writing initiatives, writers are given the opportunity to rewrite their stories before final submission to the judges. Sign up HERE.
Whilst you are waiting for feedback, you should also read at least three other stories and provide constructive feedback for them. Jump in and engage with people and potential collaborators for future projects. Once you receive feedback you redraft your story and re-submit it if you want. It’s all about improving our work and opportunities through community feedback. Sign up HERE.
Even if you don’t make it to the final 50, you should still come as the Create50 journey continues and every event is an extraordinary opportunity to network with authors and publishers. Sign up HERE.
